This villa offers a marvellous garden, a breathtaking
view, and a comfortable apartment. The spectacular
garden with two Mediterranean Pines, the cupola of a
14th century church and an endless view of the Amalfi
Coast and the Gulf of Salerno. The garden adjoins the
famous Villa Rufolo gardens, which inspired Wagner for
the Parsifal in 1880.
Access to Villa dei Pini is from the main square on the
side of Villa Rufolo tower, through an ancient tunnel
and down about 40 steps.
The main apartment takes up the ground floor of the
building, which has three floors.
This Apartment has a simple and functional layout. There
is a big lounge with an enormous balcony opening
directly onto the garden. At the far end of the lounge
you will find a kitchen equipped with refrigerator, oven
and wash-machine. A short flight of 4 steps leads to the
main bed-room, which has a double bed and a vie of a
small portion of the garden. Four steps beyond that,
there is a bathroom equipped with bath-tub. On the other
side, there is an archway leading to two more bedrooms,
one double and one twin, with windows (although not a
view). A second bathroom, which has a shower, is located
between these bedrooms.
The apartment is simply furnished but comfortable. You
have the choice of air-conditioning, but we think you
will prefer to sit and relax in the shade of the Pines.
ANNUNZIATA
At the far end corner of the garden, behind the ancient
cupola, is the “Annunziata” a large self-contained unit
designed for two people, with kitchenette and bathroom.
Just outside you have a nice garden and above a terrace
with sea-view.
We are especially fond of the garden and it is very
possible that you may end up spending your entire
holiday there. Do please see it for yourself!
Prices refer only to the main apartment with 3 bedrooms
and 2 bathrooms, lounge, kitchen and big garden. Please
ask for Annunizta quotation if required.
