Marettimo is the new and only hotel structure in the island, still wild
and almost inaccessible. That's why the residence structure has been
built with full respect for the environment and the typical houses of
the island. The furnishings too have been realized with ecological
materials. Marettimo sets aside 2% of its income for the
environmental defence and protection of the island. The
characteristics of Marettimo require the tourists be aware and
respectful towards the environment. It should be also noted that the
island is overcrowded in August, while it offers a pleasant stay during
all the seasons.
Marettimo
is next to the shore, at about 200 m. from the little port of the
village. Plunged into the greenery, it is made of 42 flats (2 suite, 10
studio, 18 one bedroom unit, 10 two bedroom unit.
Each flat has a veranda or a balcony furnished with table, chairs and
the typical stone bench of Marettimo, a living-room with a completely
equipped cooking area, one or two bedrooms.
All the flats (two-roomed and three-roomed flats) are also equipped
with:
- veranda with table, chairs and Marettimo's bench;
- kitchen with glass-baked clay electric four fires hob, complete set of
kitchen utensils and pots, a refrigerator and freezer;
- living-room with fouton bed-settee;
- bathroom with hairdresser;
- strong-box;
- ceiling fans.
Moreover, the typically Mediterranean garden of the residence is
equipped with gazebo,barbecue and children’s play area.
The residence formula includes water and lighting use, change of bed
linen and bathroom linen once a week.
Domestic animals are admitted.

quality equipment;

- guides for courses on donkey's back;
- rent of typical crafts lead by local seamen;
- guides with boats for trawling fishing with equipment;

Villa Lucia
Description: Elegance and warm welcome go hand in hand like two
sisters here.
From the large green park there are views to the blue sea and Ortigia.
Accommodation: Historical residence sleeps 8, dating from the end
of the 1800 s, on the ground floor there is a lounge, living room,
breakfast room, kitchen, a double bedroom and a bathroom with bath. On
the first floor there are three double bedrooms and two bathrooms one
with shower and the other with a bath and shower. Well furnished.
Amenities: Swimming pool (mt 14x7), garden, dishwasher, tv and
meeting room. A lady caretaker lives on the ground floor of the villa.
There is also an annexe which is divided into holiday apartments.
