Sorrento
1st Day - Transfer Naples/Sorrento
Upon arrival our car/minivan and private English speaking guide will bring you
to the oldest bar of the city where we will offer you a good coffee and a
typical "sfogliatella" You will continue your short journey direct to Sorrento.
On the way, you can admire "Mount Vesuvius," and the beautiful view of
the Bay of Naples..
When you arrive in Sorrento we will take you to your accommodation, comfortable
double bedroom with independent bathroom located in our structures designed like
an old-fashioned Italian cottage offering absolute peace and tranquillity.
At leisure, you will be able to discover the little town of Sorrento an
experience rich in surprises.
We will then return for a welcome party, hosted on the patio. It is an ideal
place where you can feel the warm breeze and fragrance of nature, and enjoy the
view of a magnificent terrace in the middle of a lush green garden creating a
relaxed and perfect atmosphere. This will be followed by a typical old
traditional Neapolitan dinner on the veranda, which is a large gazebo structure.
It is an intimate and elegant place where spending dinnertime together becomes
an opportunity to relax with your fellow diners, experiencing and enjoying the
real Italian family culture at first hand.
2nd Day - Vinery excursion and Positano by night
After breakfast, our guide will take you to Naples by minivan where you will
visit the most famous wine cellar of Southern Italy. These wine cellars are
placed in the wonderful frame of Campi Flegrei and they were created precisely
to develop and rediscover Campania's quality wines. After the visit, we return
to Sorrento for leisure time.
We will sit down for a light dinner at the house, where we will offer fresh
pasta and a traditional fish dish ? the kind of dish depends on what Neptune
gives us from the sea.
After relaxing for a couple of hours, our guide will accompany you by
car/minivan to the small marine town of “Positano" to experience the unique view
of the Amalfi coast by night.
You' ll reach the famous "Piazzetta" for a drink in one of the prominent bars
located here. You will be brought back to Sorrento, where you will spend the
night again.
3rd Day - A short cookery course at the local farm
After breakfast, we will reveal to you some of her secrets in preparing famous
courses. The whole day will be spent in the kitchens of the local farm where you
will learn how to prepare the dough to make genuine Neapolitan Pizza. For this
occasion you are requested to invite all your friends to pay us a visit, as we
will arrange a real "all you can eat pizza party" that will be accompanied by
the traditional "caponata salad" and "mussels impepata soup," boiled with black
pepper and covered with fresh-squeezed lemon juice. For the finale you will make
a dessert, based on fruit, such as a fruit tart, fruit mousse, or Baba with
fresh fruit
4th Day - Transfer back to Naples
After breakfast we will present you with a small gift made with local homemade
products, Cookery Graduation Certificates, and delivery of the exclusive apron
and the recipe handbook including all the dishes made during your stay. We will
then have a farewell party before arranging a private transfer to the Naples
airport. At this point we will say "Arriverderci" and "Buon viaggio"!
